Highlights from classical modern and the present
In addition to high quality standards, the change between modern and contemporary art belongs to the essential characteristics of the programme at the Kunsthalle in Tübingen.
Under the management of Prof. Dr. Götz Adriani, a continuous and distinguished exhibition programme in the 70’s established the international reputation of the Kunsthalle Tübingen. In addition to works from Picasso and Cézanne, the classics of the post-war modern period, such as Joseph Beuys, Anselm Kiefer and Andy Warhol, as well as outstanding contemporary artists such as Cornelia Schleime and Anselm Reyle, have been exhibited.
After a long renovation period the art hall will re-open in March 2017 with the exhibition „Kapitalströmung“ (“current of capital”).
