Upon its market release in March 1936, the 170 V had a now unthinkable abundance of body types to choose from: Limousines with two or four doors, Convertible sedans, open touring cars with two doors, Cabriolet B or the 2-seater roadster. In May, the selection was rounded off with the sporty, elegant Cabriolet A and at a price of 5,980.- RM it was also the most exclusive variant of the 170 V.
