Food & beverage on Lindenplatz

Asian Cuisine in the Heart of Outletcity

Enjoy fresh sushi from our in-house sushi master, delicious bowls with regional ingredients and homemade lemonade. Not only does the urban, Pan-Asian restaurant Champa delight its guests in its light-flooded, modern ambience but also with its diverse Asian cuisine and surprising, extraordinary flavours: whether it’s vegan tofu curry or a piquant wasabi poke bowl, an aromatic soup with fine entrecôte or fresh salmon nigiri – Fans of light cuisine will find Champa well worth the visit!

McDonald's

Thanks to the impressing design of the French star architect Philippe Avanzi, we can enjoy the popular hamburgers, chips & co. by McDonald’s in a noble atmosphere. Diverse coffee specialities by McCafé as well as convenient take-away offers at McDrive complete the service. In summer, a large sun terrace invites customers to linger.

In the past: Historic curiosities

Events

Did you know that the big building with the mansard roof is the eponym for today’s Lindenplatz? The former restaurant 'Zur Linde' had certainly been the culinary place to go for the inhabitants of Metzingen for a long time because of the large animal and flea market that had taken place there from the 19th century.

After its reconstruction in the 1960s, Lindenplatz became an important traffic junction for many years. Today, after its post-millennial redevelopment, it’s the place where tradition meets modernity and city centre meets OUTLETCITY!
