Quiksilver from the beginning
Quiksilver was founded in 1969 by Tim Davis, Carol McDonald and Alan Green. The three surfers wanted to earn a living from their favourite sport and got off to a low-key start manufacturing board shorts. These were so popular with surfers that the label gradually developed from this small company to a hip surfing and snowwear brand.

Like Quiksilver, ROXY also arose from the water – originally as a swimwear collection. Today, ROXY, the counterpart to Quiksilver, is a lifestyle brand with chilled and sporty outfits for active young women.
